Jason Field

Jason Field

Jason has over 15 years of martial arts experience.  Prior to moving to Colorado, Jason trained and taught in Los Angeles, Ca.  A diligent student of the martial arts, training daily in Taekwondo, Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,  Jason holds a Black Belt in Taekwondo, a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu and is a ten-year veteran of professional kickboxing.  In 2006 Jason starred in the mixed martial art feature film “Maximum Cage Fighting”.  Filming took place in Brazil and Los Angeles.  Also in the film are martial art legends Renzo Gracie, Higan Machado, Gerson Sanginitto, and Jun Chong.  Visit www.mcfthemovie.com.

In 2005 Jason partnered with head jiu-jitsu instructor Carlos Carvalho to create the local Vail Competition Team.  Since then they have built a strong reputation within the sport fighting community, having coached well known fighters such as Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, Leonard Garcia, and Bobby Hermasillo.  Most recently Jason has enjoyed coaching in three Championship fights, and just hosted Inyodo’s  5th  Athletic Boxing Commissioned MMA event here in Vail, Colorado.  Continuing his interest in mixed martial arts, Jason has been a television commentator for the mixed martial art league “Ring of Fire”.  Outside of competitive martial arts, Jason can be found at the studio teaching classes or stretching on the mat.  Jason says training is not so much about the belt you wear but the mindset you obtain, the discipline you command, and the respect that you give.

Kim Christodal

Kim Christodal

Instructor Kim Christodal began training in martial arts in 1980 at age 5, studying Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan, a.k.a. Soo Bahk Do.  She continued to study Tang Soo Do for 18 years, earning several forms and sparring national titles, as well as opening her first martial arts studio in Newport, Rhode Island with her father.  Kim eventually moved to Los Angeles and studied and taught for Jun Chong Tae Kwon Do and the World United Martial Arts Organization.  She is most fulfilled by the relationships she’s made and sustained with her students around the country. Kim is an inspiration to everyone at Inyodo studio. Her 28 years of experience, and genuine link to "old school training" (she remembers using oil cans for paddles - paddles weren't invented yet) offers Inyodo the true essence of a Master. At the ripe old age of 33 Miss Kim sets the standard for dedicated martial artists.
